Phillips Chevy Cares - Chicago Chevrolet Dealer | Frankfort, IL Tinley Park Matteson Joliet

Phillips Chevrolet is committed to giving back to the community through charitable activities and community service. We encourage you to take a moment to learn more about some of the causes we support.

Year Round Food Drive

Phillips Chevrolet serves as a collection point for donations to local food pantries. Both Phillips Chevrolet Frankfort and Phillips Chevrolet Lansing have collected over 3,000 items non-perishable grocery items to support our local food banks. Both locations serve as drop-off locations year round, so please help us continue to support local families in need. You can drop your donations off in the showroom of either location during regular business hours.

Cozy Hearts Coat Drive

We’ve already collected so many coats here at Phillips Chevrolet for the Cozy Hearts Coat Drive that we filled our donation bin three times over! Our General Sales Manager Brian McMahon (right) was joined by Jon Osborne, Vice President of Image 360 - one of the coat drive sponsors, to pick up the coats we’ve already collected and make room for more. Stop by the showroom of either Phillips Chevrolet location with your donation of new or gently used winter gear, including coats, gloves, hats, scarves, and/or socks to help those in need. We’ll be collecting donations through December 20th.

Hippocrates Medical Clinic

Phillips Chevrolet is proud to support charitable organizations in the Chicagoland area – that’s why today we donated artwork, a TV, and other office furniture to the Hippocrates Medical Clinic in Kankakee. Due to our current construction project, we have temporarily consolidated several offices leaving a lot of furniture left without a home. The Hippocrates Medical Clinic provides free primary care, OB/GYN, physical therapy, behavioral health services free of charge to qualifying individuals based on financial necessity and lack of/under-covered insurance, and is funded by community, business, and individual donations. We’re thrilled to see our furniture go to such a great cause.

Chevrolet Youth Baseball

Phillips Chevrolet is proud to participate in the Chevrolet Youth Baseball Program, a grassroots initiative to support local communities. Each year, each Phillips Chevy location supports a local youth baseball team with donations of equipment and a sponsorship check.

Holiday Toys For Tots Toy Drive

Phillips Chevrolet is proud to serve as a drop-off point for Toys for Tots every holiday season. With your help, we have donated over $1,000 worth of toys for kids in need to find under their trees during the holiday season.

Children's Heart Foundation

Phillips Chevrolet raised $8800 for the Children’s Heart Foundation to help advance Congenital Heart Defect Research. Congenital Heart Defects are America’s #1 birth defect, affecting nearly 40,000 babies a year. In the US, twice as many children die from CHDs than from all forms of childhood cancer, but pediatric cancer research funding is five times higher than CHD research funding. For every new vehicle we sold in February, we donated $25 to the Children’s Heart Foundation to help advance CHD research. A big thank you to all the great folks who came out and chose a new car or truck from Illinois’ Largest Chevy Inventory and helped us help this great cause!

Teddy Bear Care

Phillips Chevrolet and ServPro of Frankfort are proud to support Teddy Bear Care, an organization that collects and distributes teddy bears and other stuffed animals to donate to children in local hospitals. Thank you to everyone who participated in our Teddy Bear drive who helped make a child’s hospital stay more “bear-able.”

Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation

Phillips Chevrolet is proud to support Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo and the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation in the battle against cancer. Anthony realized during his own battle with cancer that no matter how difficult fighting cancer was to him, it was even more difficult for his family. Anthony believes that an individual does not battle cancer, but that the whole family does. The Mission of the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation is to raise money for cancer research and to provide support to children and their families battling the disease.

USO Barbecue and Car Wash for the Troops

Everyone here at Phillips Chevrolet would like to thank all the great folks who came out for our Barbecue and Car Wash for the Troops this Saturday. Thanks to you, we raised $1500 to help the USO provide a home away from home for our troops and help keep them connected to their families. We’d also like to give a big round of applause to the ROTC volunteers who pitched in to help: William Ehnert, Autumn Marcinkowski, John Scott, Bryon Nush, Amanda Sorensen, Geaninne Luciano, and Tessa Vecchi.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

Everyone here at Phillips Chevrolet would like to thank all the great folks who participated in our Making Strides Against Breast Cancer events during the month of October. Thanks to you, we raised $23,000 for the American Cancer Society. Whether you donated when you were visiting our service department, stopped in to our showroom to buy a raffle ticket, or came to our in-store signing event with the Chicago Bears’ Michael Bush, we couldn’t have done it without your support. We would also like to congratulate Stephanie Moretti from Shorewood, Illinois (pictured to the left with Phillips Chevrolet’s General Manager Michael Maheras) who won our Chevy Spark raffle. Of her new car, Stephanie said, “I can’t wait to drive it. I love all the stuff inside and the pink is awesome!”

Warm Hearts Coat Drive

A big warm "Thank You!" goes out to everyone who participated in our Warm Hearts coat drive! The coats will be tallied up soon and donated to a local charity, to help keep folks warm this winter.

With your help, we collected over 200 coats and jackets that went to St Vincent De Paul Society to help give the gift of warmth!
